The Calendar element draws one month as a grid, with one day marked. It is the element behind wedding-date prints, birth-month keepsakes and “the day we met” gifts, and it works well beside a moon phase or a star map of the same day.
Set the month
Add the element
Open Elements and click the Calendar tile.

Choose the month and year
Under Content on the Design tab, the Month row takes a month and a year. That pair is the whole content of the element: everything else is how it looks.
Mark the days
Double-click a day on the canvas to mark it, and again to unmark it. Mark one day or several, such as a wedding or a whole holiday. Marked lists the days you marked; to mark them without the canvas, use Pick days under More. Mark style draws them as a Heart, a Circle or a Box.
A heart or a circle around the 14th reads as a keepsake. A box reads as a planner. Pick the one that matches the product.
Get the week right for the buyer
Three settings decide whether a calendar looks right to the person reading it.
- Week starts, under Content, takes Monday or Sunday. This is not a detail. A European buyer reading a Sunday-first calendar notices immediately, and so does an American buyer reading a Monday-first one.
- Month title and Weekday names, switches in the Look section, turn the month name and the day-name row on and off. A calendar with both off is a bare grid of numbers, which suits a minimal print.
Language, under Content, sets which language the month name and weekday names are written in. English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Français, Español and Italiano are available. Match it to the market you sell in, not to the language you work in.
Colour it
The Look section starts with a gallery of looks: Classic, Minimal, Ink, Blush, Sage and Sand. Below it, Colors sets four things separately: Text for the numbers, Accent for the highlight, Grid for the lines between days, and Background behind the whole thing.
The usual mistake is a grid that is too dark. At print size a grid at full contrast fights the numbers. Take it to a light tint of your text colour and the month reads as a shape rather than a table.
Let the shopper pick their month

A calendar is one customer field. On the Personalize tab, switch on Customers can change this, then:
- Field sets the Label and Help text the shopper reads.
- Under What customers can change, Month lets the shopper pick the month and year, and Marked day lets them pick a day of that month to mark. Both are on from the start. Switch one off to keep your own choice fixed.
- The month you set on the Design tab is the month shown until the customer picks one. There is no separate default to keep in step.
- Required to order stops an order going through with the date left blank, which is worth switching on for a dated keepsake.
The marked day is drawn in your mark style, so a shopper who picks February 2027 and marks the 14th gets that month with that day marked.
Next
To build a whole product around it, follow a birthday calendar.
Pair it with a moon phase of the same day, or a star map of the same night.
