This guide shows where to find Composerie billing records for Shopify-billed accounts. It is for any merchant who handles their own bookkeeping or needs tax-compliant records.
View and download invoices
Shopify is the billing source for Composerie subscriptions on Shopify stores. Your official app billing record is in Shopify, and Composerie shows a billing summary in your settings.
Open Settings, then Billing, and review the billing summary. It shows your current Shopify-managed subscription state and usage information where available.
To save an official invoice or receipt, open your Shopify admin and use Shopify’s billing area. Shopify keeps the charge record for Shopify app subscriptions.
You do not have to come back here after every charge. Shopify records app charges on your Shopify invoice.

Add your legal business details
Most jurisdictions require invoices or tax records to carry your legal business name and a tax number. Keep those details up to date in Shopify, and keep your Composerie workspace details current for support and account records.
Open the Legal business info section
Go to Settings, then Billing. Scroll to the Legal business info section if it is available for your account.
Fill in your business details
Enter your legal business name, pick your country, and add your VAT or Tax ID. Then fill in your billing address: address line 1, an optional line 2, city, state, and postal code.
Save the details
Click Save. Composerie stores your details for your workspace record. For Shopify-issued invoices, also keep your Shopify billing details up to date in Shopify.
Where do I download an official invoice PDF?
Open your Shopify admin and use Shopify's billing area. Shopify issues the official billing record for Shopify app subscriptions.
Why is my VAT number not on my invoice?
Check your Shopify billing details first. Shopify controls the official invoice for Shopify-managed app billing.
Can I change the business name shown on past invoices?
Usually no. Already-issued invoices keep the details that were on file at the time.
