Connect the Composerie Shopify app

Start the Shopify approval flow, return to Composerie, and verify the correct store and connection health.

You can start from Composerie’s Shopify installation link or connect another store from Integrations. Shopify handles store selection and approval.

Starting from Shopify

  1. Open the Composerie installation link supplied for your store and review the access request in Shopify.
  2. After approval, follow the return to Composerie. Composerie opens as a separate application, so keep the Shopify tab open too.
  3. If the account-link page asks you to sign in, use your individual Composerie account and return to confirm the exact store shown. Shopify approval alone does not sign you into a Composerie account.
  4. Continue the setup shown for that store, including Shopify billing and theme placement. Check the store name before each approval.

If the account-link page reports an expired or invalid link, return to the same store’s Shopify Admin → Apps → Composerie entry and follow the fresh link. Do not reuse an old account-link URL or send its query string to support. If the problem remains, contact support with the store URL, time and visible error text. Never send your password or login codes.

Connecting a store from an existing workspace

Use the following steps when you are already signed into the intended Composerie workspace.

Before you start

Use a Shopify account that can install apps for the intended store. Check the store name in Shopify before approving, especially when your login can access several stores.

Open Shopify from Integrations to connect or inspect the stores available to this workspace.

Open the Shopify integration

In Composerie, go to Integrations and open Shopify.

Add the store

Select Add Store. You choose the store during Shopify’s approval flow, so you do not need to paste a shop URL into Composerie.

Review and approve in Shopify

Confirm the store, requested access, and any plan information shown by Shopify. Complete the approval there.

Verify the returned connection

Back in Composerie, confirm that the store card reads Active and Healthy. Open its details to verify the domain and recent order count.

Can I connect more than one Shopify store?

Yes. Each store has its own card, domain, status, and product publications.

Why does Composerie not ask for my shop URL?

Shopify supplies the selected shop securely during the approval flow.
